So.....yeah. I graduated hair school and took my practical exam. PASSED. After you pass your exam, you wait to receive your COSMETOLOGY LICENSE in the mail. So that's what i'm doing right now. While I wait....
I'm helping my BFF spread the word about her awesome new company called Urban Elixir. They are all natural cocktail mixers that pretty much make any party a ..ya know....PARTY. If you think about it, cocktail mixers are lame and jimmy buffet-y gimmicks loaded with sugar/high fructose corn syrup and a bunch of blech that NOBODY needs. These mixers are for people who love to live life, care about what they're putting into their bodies...and have a drink or two while doing it. Basically, being fabulous. It's all about being fabulous.
It's weird being out of school and not having to be there every second of every day. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done and I'm so glad I did it. I wasn't able to update this blog as much as I had initially planned because, well, I WAS ALWAYS AT SCHOOL.
It's been awesome to be able to be a mom again full-time. As soon as I'm ready, I'm looking to get work at a salon (or open my own salon on wheels...ya know..like a food truck but not..) I don't know...I like the idea (thank you, Cari Weinberg) So we'll see what happens.
